About Me
A ‘majestic’ film and television editor with over 17 years of experience in the cutting room, I’ve worked across a variety of genres and budgets. From prime-time television like Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light to independent feature films such as The Almond and The Seahorse, I’m passionate about crafting stories that captivate and connect.
The Journey
It all began in 2007 when a fresh-faced Northerner (that’s me) landed a runner job at a post-production house called The Station. After charming everyone with the magic of a proper Yorkshire brew, I moved on to become Tech Manager at The Offline Editing Company and later Tech Operator at Crow TV.
By 2011, I leapt into Film and TV dramas, where I’ve been sprinkling my magic ever since. Over the next 13 years, I honed my skills as a first assistant editor, learning from some of the finest editors in the UK. This invaluable experience gave me the tools to step into the editor’s chair myself.
Today, I bring a fresh perspective to the cutting room alongside my joyous Yorkshire wit! I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible directors and talented casts, shaping narratives that entertain, move, and inspire audiences.
